Dr. Rutherford has lived in Oregon most of his life. He has been under chiropractic care since birth and knows first-hand the benefits of chiropractic, as his grandfather, Leonard W. Rutherford, D.C. was a chiropractor here in Eugene. Dr. Rutherford is a graduate of Oregon State University and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where he interned with Dr. E. L. “Bud” Crowder, D.C. For the past 24 years, he has practiced alongside Dr. David H. Ott, D.C. who has recently retired. He has a specific interest in the upper cervical spine and its importance in the function of the entire body. He enjoys the beauty of nature and the outdoors and is particularly fond of fly fishing, running whitewater, and spending time with his family.
